I was thrilled to be a part of this whole house project in the dining room! Gina and Laura with Vivid Interiors wanted to have wallpaper installed, but the shape and the niche in the dining room was going to make installation very difficult. They contacted me about doing a wall finish.

I started with the lighter part of the wall first, then went on to the darker part of the finish. I left the area where they meet without glaze/color, and then faded them together. It was a blending process, and at the same time leaving some harder edges. Everything was softened as I worked, similar to my canvas art style.
