Sometimes a Series is painted, because it's time to shuffle up to buffalo (as my grandma used to say). and get it in gear to create again.  I had to move into the flow of these pieces.  I laid down the base color, then just took a long break.  The canvas's sat against the wall for a very long while, in the studio room which I had not claimed as my own yet.  Then, one day, I just started painting, just like that I came up with spring jubilee!  The fresh aroma of the new season just waiting to form on the canvas.  They began to grow in rich color of the new season!  No more daunting overcast winter and worries.  It was time to let go and free from it all!  As I took off 7 months from creating, the quiet months gave me time to regenerate and foster fresh energy for the new season, and this new series.
